This is too easy!
He thought
Johnny always thought of himself as professionally skilled,
always trying to take it to the next level, trying to test out on how far he
can go. His friends would just call him ‘lucky’, but Johnny would never take
that kind of logic. “There’s no such thing as luck, good or bad!” He would always tell his friends.
This made Johnny more determined to prove that to his
friends. He was going to steal something from the old merchant, good luck would
have nothing to do with stealing and bad luck would’ve prevented him from
stealing. According from the logic from his friends.
This is my chance… Johnny
thought, as his hand slowly reached for the item.
His eyes slowly followed the merchant, the merchant’s eyes
fixed on the newspaper. Closely studying it like it was a test question. Without
looking up, the merchant walked slowly to his back office.
As soon as he was out of sight, he snatched the item and
started to walk fast toward the door.
He can see the light as he neared the door, when suddenly a
black cat jumped right in the door way. It was too late for Johnny to miss the
cat’s tail as the cat let out a loud growl.
Johnny kept running, not turning back.
I can’t get caught! I
have to prove it to my friends, there’s no such thing as luck, good or bad.
(To be continued)

Growing up, R.L. Stine has been one of most inspiring for me to write haunts or ghost stories. I use to write all the time when I was younger, I'm trying to get back into this again, please comment or click the links to help me improve.**
